Good job !!

Good job !!

Hi !
I tested the game at release
(See my small AAR here https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/view ... 9&t=376061 in 2021)

As the German army, i ran over the allied easily the first days, even took Bastogne before the arrival of the 101st airbone only to be stopped by massive fuel shortage, impossible to overcome. Supply was not an issue, nearly unlimited. The game had interesting mechanism, but poorly balanced. The AI was not up to the task, often withdrawing without reason to victory point location / fortified position and was easy to crush.

I restarted the german historical campaign two weeks ago. Two years later, the campaign is far more interesting !!

I had to fought hard to breach the first lines of defenses and Bastogne is now defended by the 101st airbone and getting there is not easy. The allied AI is a far more a worthy opponent. Bridge and strategic locations are more fortified and defended hard.
Supply is enough to fight, but not enough to overspent, and the artillery have to make pause to restock (which is good).
Fuel looks balanced too. (i have to manage, but i can play).

Good job the campaign is now really interesting.

I will try the allied campaign after. Is this campaign similar in quality ?
Brakes are for cowards !!
