Can't reach story locations

I am playing the Akdarians in the most recent beta. There are several planets / systems I was directed to early in the game, they have pulsing blue circles, but are in the middle of the hazard outline (one is a yellow Radiation Zone, one in in a purple Ion storm). When I try to send exploration ships there, they give me weird round about paths that take me outside my territory and back in. There are no blockading nebula.

There are two more purple, a yellow, and an undifferentiated white. They have names like rift, disturbance, region, and waste. They are surrounded by my territory.

I have medium exploration ships with Ion Shields, Gerax Hyperdrive II, and 2 Corvidian Shields II, What am I missing? In previous games I can usually reach these zones by now. Do I need a second Ion Shield?

It's a 1.1.8.7 issue, when I reverted to 1.1.8.1 it fixed itself and stopped crashing every few minutes.

Do you have a save file you could share that duplicates this for you in 1.1.8.7?

One issue though, it seems you have an access lock on the save you sent to our support team. Do you mind zipping up and uploading your save file to this forum or resending the save without the access lock?

Also, we recently released a new public beta v1.2.0.0. Have you tried this latest version? Let us know if you're still experiencing issues on that version.
