MORE PBEM PROBLEMS

Post by panzcaster »

I could really use some help on this one. What I need is someone to tell me, step by step ( sort of walk me thru ) , what I need to do to get a turn to load in my game.

For example: I just opened opened my e-mail in the in box. What do I need to do after that ? A simple but detailed answer would be great.

Thanks

FIRST put the file your opponent sent you in: ...Matrix Games/Korsun Pocket/SaveEmail/Play/

Method one: right click the turn file your opponent sent you. OPEN... select Korsun Pocket as the program to open the file... now you only have to double click on the new turns after you put them in the play folder

Method two: Start KP, from the main menu select "Email Game:, then select "Load Email Game", then click on the turn file, finally click on "Load it"

Interesting. I've played KP before but had it on an old rig. I have a new computer that I've been using for a couple of months now and went ahead and re-installed KP on it to play a colleague in a PBEM match. We both are updated to version 1.11.

I've played PBEM games on KP previously so am familiar with where the files go.

However, when my colleague sent me his turn file, I placed it in the correct folder, but KP did not recognize it existed - no PBEM game appeared on the Load screen for e-mail games. He's re-sent me the file twice and each time KP refuses to recognize the file in the folder.

Anyone have any ideas why?
