I remembered this topic and something fitting here. In Finnish anime/manga forum (now offline) one recounted his experiences in boot camp of Finnish Army / ground forces. Said that in mortar company they watched Silver Fang anime and everybody was totally into it. But mortar company has a lousy reputation which may have contributed to it. His theory kinda lost its base when he found out that in guerrilla company they watch Fullmetal Alchemist :mrgreen:
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.
