Matrix WIF and the Millennial and 2008 Annuals

Post by Vanman »

Greetings all,

Always been curious about the 2000 and 2008 annuals. I know they consist of Patton in Flames and Factories in Flames info etc, but how do they both relate to Matrix WIF? Are they worth purchasing in that context? Thanks.

They do not relate to MWiF. Formerly they were add-ons for WiFFE the boardgame and are also available in the Vassal module. Some components were incorporated into the Collectors Edition although IMO the rules interface from CE to America and Patton in Flames (if you have them as they appear to be sold out on the ADG website) was not well polished.

I thought the millennium annual included the strategies for WiFFE which might be useful for MWiF.

Yeah, that's right. I may have confused them with the KiF and FiF kits.

The 2008 Annual also had some Errata that was incorporated into MWiF.
