If you start a war with somebody indirectly (attacking a friendship pact partner), trade relations (and tariffs) are not removed and trade goes as normal, but you cannot lower trade relations or change tariffs. Same is probably true for science agreements.

Between human players human players the pacts are maintained. But the idea was you should be able to remove trade levels or change change tariffs while at war. Could you send a savegame to vic@vrdesigns.net?

The file I posted here https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/view ... 3#p5145783 works. Trade level with Mamonis cannot be reduced.

I agree. It was forbidden to change Trade Tariffs if you did not have a Trade Pact Level. I dont remember why i put this rule in place and I see no reason for it to remain. Next open beta will reflect this.

As for not being able to increase trade level. That is normal if you are at war.

It's not possible to decrease (stop) trade during the war, not increase.
