GENERAL MUSINGS:

I tend to always get into my old strategy, that is Burma, to open roads to China. China is always in need for supply and Rangoon is important for victory points. I seriously need to focus on CENTPAC more, but gains there are small and risks for botched assault bigger.

I am bit behind schedule in Solomon Islands, basically because of horrible losses I did suffer among CV attack pilots previously. But it was balanced with sinking CV Soryu. IJN seem to have abandoned Rabaul, maybe they went to Truk or even homeland, who knows. Need to recon Rabaul.

Submarine war is business as usual, there are good hunting grounds around Japan and soon (Sept. 1943), Mk 14 torpedo will reach it's full potential.

And as usual, just when I started to form Amphibious TF to assault Tulagi with 1st and 4th Marine Divisions, Fletcher-class DDs went to one week refit.
