[v1.25e] AI Infantry Card description issue

In my current game, the difficulty setting is set to Hard. I have two AI major on my boarders, while their infantry are equipped similar to my own, I’m finding their troops are virtually invincible in combat. My infantry see heavy losses on the order of 4 to 1, and my light tanks seem to break even with them.

Looking at the AI infantry cards I get the following

Per the cards the infantry are equipped with Padded Envirosuit or Combat Armour and Automatic Rifles, and see Soft Attack/Defense stats of approx 50/100.

My infantry card reads as:

Per the card, my infantry are equipped with Combat Armour and Gas Powered Carbine, and has Soft Attack/Defense stats of approx 30/50. The Gas Carbine, per the description is suppose to be 85% of the Automatic Rifle fire power. Yet, the AI infantry have nearly double my Soft Attack values.

I have since unlocked Gauss Small Arms, and redesigned the infantry to equip the Gauss Arms, and get the following card:

Per the card, the stats on my infantry with Gauss Arms see Soft Attack values similar to AI infantry with Automatic Rifles.

I suspect the AI infantry card, shown above, is incorrectly listing Automatic weapons when actually the unit is equipped a Gauss Rifle. Otherwise, their Automatic Rifles may be getting Gauss Rifles like stats. Either way, something ain’t right.

I suspect it is because AI's infantry is third or fourth iteration of the model, maybe even a model with a good structural, base and weapon design, while your model is just first iteration.

Could you share your savefile?

Thanks for the reply aloocritani.

I know there is a bumb in stats with higher iterations, but unsure as to how high the bumb can be with that many iterations. Near as I can tell the AI started with their units at this level/stat.

If I recall correctly, the forum will not upload the game file, will have to e-mail.

Thank you for the reply alocritani.

I have since restarted my game, with the idea updating the model with more iterations as you highlighted. On the fourth iteration I was able to get an infantry model with similar stats. It looks like I have learned a new trick, as I was assuming upgrading models in this way would not double the stats.
