Create mission meny on zones

I don't use zones that mutch so I need some help with this. Usually when shift+right clicking on a zone I get 4 options: select all ref points, rename, delete och interpolate. But sometimes I also get create mission options.
I cant figure out how to make them appear regularly

You just have to have a unit selected, right?
