I don't remember that one. Kampfgruppe and Battlegroup were probably my two favorite C64 games.

Kampfgruppe was one of my first computer wargames. Got it as a Christmas gift to myself. Played it on an Apple IIc. Oh the memories.

Actually, it was the last millennium!

No, I do not remember Dnieper River Line. I do remember Kampfgruppe.

My first strategy game that I bought was also the game that I played the most - U.S.A.A.F. Would likely still play it if I had the possibility to do so.

That reminds me how extraordinarily expensive the games were back then.

I think they missed how much these old games are worth today. I still look at images of old games and get the urge to play, I would buy them to play. a lot are free but i want official virus free as the virus were rampant back then.

I played it on the TRS-80 and loved it. It was very playable.

It had a mounted mapboard and counters as the screen on those old computers was not high resolution, nor did the TRS-80 (model I) have color.

It was a small meeting scenario, Germans and Soviets, as I remember, and I would play it right now.

Found original CD's in my closet for Clash of Steel, Steel Panthers, Definitive Wargame Collection, and Panzer General. Such oldies gathering dust.
