Carrier air group resizing

Due to air combat I have several carrier air groups that are under sized.What is the best way to get them whole again. Many have no replacements to draw from pools. Can I do it thru disbanding and withdrawing. I have read the”manual “and come away somewhat confused. Also I have 3 CVE’s,how do you get air groups to fit. As always thanks in advance for your insight.

When is it in the game?

Are you out of replacements because the aircraft models are discontinued and new models are available? If so, upgrade to new models!

Are you out of replacements yet the aircraft model is still being produced? If so, wait for production. Stand down your combats and train your air units.

Your CVEs, are they the CVEs with the replenishment groups with two 24 aircraft groups? If so, get them within range of your aircraft carriers that need those models of aircraft and then use the replenish button to get aircraft from your replenishment groups to those groups that need the aircraft.

As the allies the first 3 CVE's are loaded with replenishment squadrons. So put them in a replenishment TF and once they are in range with the CV you want the squadrons filled out on, use the option to replenish the squadrons. Simple ....GP
