v1.00.37 save game path hardcoded?

Post by OldSarge »

On my system I have relocated the Documents folder to the D: drive, but it looks like RTW is using a hardcoded path that forces the save to the C: drive.

I'm trying to keep the C: drive as uncluttered as I can and not being able to redirect the path to a more suitable location is problematic. Is there a way to make RTW point to the My Games folder on the D: drive without having to create junction links?

I went ahead and created the links, and RTW is can find the relocated saves. I suspect that there are some users who might not be as comfortable doing that, so I would suggest making the save game path user changeable would be useful.

Thanks for the feedback. We're considering some improvements to this area to better accommodate unique player drive setups.
