[FIXED] B1328.15+.16 sonar passive sensors do not detect contacts

Hello,

Using this version 1328.15 passive sensors in a ASW mission seems never detect underwater contacts.
It does not matter speed or depth of the contact.
Active sensors work correctly.

In the attached scen North Korean subs are never detected with the passive sensors (S. Korean passive buoys or passive sensors of South Korean subs and ships )

I did a rollback to .14 and same scen seems is working correctly.

Confirm no detection by passive sonar.

Confirmed. This is the result of a recent (Jan 2024) change to fix another issue. Checking for a solution now.

This is a huge bug that breaks every scenario involving ASW. I don't see why the fix wasn't included in 1328.16.

We're looking into this guys, thanks. This is why the patch was soft released first, so we can catch stuff like this.

It is not in the list of fixes in v16.

I was aware of this, but sometimes things get fixed without explicit mention resp. get fixed with other,not obviously connected, issues. I raised it because it was a considered fixed with next update. And since it is a deal breaker for many scenarios I've put it on the table again.

Yes Quark73. I was just pointing out that it was not in the list, but of course I have no idea whether it was forgotten or not fixed

Tried comparing v12 with v16 in the Sonar test scen posted above by you.
