Uber Poland Air Force

Post by havoc1371 »

Just started a game as the Axis. Polish fighter inflicted 4 losses on my fighters and 1 on a bomber while flying two intercept missions, while taking no losses itself. I would really like to know how the AI determines losses, because that is pretty wild and extreme. Don't remember the Polish having improved air warfare where their fighters can fly two missions in the past; is this something new?

There have been no changes here, and the rng is the same for both sides.

The Polish fighter does have two intercepts to reflect their high training level, though admittedly it is very rare they can intercept more than once, as any casualties in the first intercept will prevent them from being able to again.

Essentially, if this were a board game, your opponent has rolled high (twice) and you haven't.

just start again the developers make the game that POLAND has must have not chance, NO CHANCE.

as Allys i have stoped german at Poland 3 4 and 5 turns but infantry can only recive replacement at FIVE

just to notice that even if germans take varsovia may Poland not surrender that turn.

I find the extreme ranges of results to be over the top. That a Polish fighter unit can inflict 4 fighter and 1 bomber losses on the Germans without taking any to be ridiculous. Doesn't matter how well trained they were; they were not flying top of the line aircraft.

It's also partially because of turn 1:
Normaly a str 5 fighter would have crap morale, but on turn one every unit starts with
morale = 10*current supply,
no matter in what state its str is.

The fighter did have an HQ with a leadership of 6.

This has no bearing on the default 1 v 1 game.
There's an editor, code away.
Slaps issued: 16 - Patton, Dana White, Batman, Samson. Medals/Salutes given: 6, warnings received: 11, suspensions served: 4, riots: 2.
