Very detailed Italian Army information

Post by MechFO »

German handbook on the Italian Army from 1938-1939. Has both peacetime and some war time organisations. Given the relationship it should be fairly accurate and Italian sub unit level information is very scarce.

Alpini are covered in detail.

Includes information on ammunition loadouts.

Very interesting but sadly the info stops at basically half of whats shown in the index. So no airforce info for me. But please keep up digging

pages 294 -313

Another fragment. I'm fairly sure from the same document, though going by page numbers a big chunk is missing. This includes air force, navy and colonies.

Random find number 645. Another part of the document.

pages 366-402, 403-407

Technical details of Italian trucks and towing vehicles as well as total number of trucks in the civilian economy on pages 369-370.

The rest seems mainly related to clothing, the military justice system and payment.
