[Mod] Name List Expansion

This collaborative mod expands the name lists for characters, zones, regimes, free folk villages, hex perks, geographical features, planets and unit models.

Currently it adds 9645 new entries to the game files, though the overall effect is somewhat greater than this, as some names are created by combining parts.

Usage
  1. Download the mod to Shadow Empire\shadowscenarios
    (on Steam, Steam\SteamApps\common\Shadow Empire\shadowscenarios)
  2. Start Shadow Empire
  3. In the main menu, go to modlib picker (bottom right) and enable name list expansion (tick "Use this mod library")
  4. Start a new game

Common notes regarding Shadow Empire mods
  • The mod gets applied when creating a new planet, and is subsequently included in the save file.
  • Thus, in multiplayer, only the person creating the planet needs to have the mod, and only for the planet generation part.

People have been reporting major slowdowns when using this mod in PBEM multiplayer. So far no ideas why it happens (and why only in MP); any ideas are appreciated, as are reports of performance. For now I wouldn't recommend using it in MP.

Edit: Fixed in the latest beta (1.25i and later).

I can provide MP game where we starting to experience slowdowns.
One of them is creating new assets on empty hex which previously did not had one (adding more assets doesn't seams to produce slowdown)

Issue fixed by newest beta.

Vic's optimization even enabled continuing existing corrupted games. So happy :)
