Get a "not responding" message during AI turn

This message often comes up and after while the turn resolution reurns. If I move the mouse about/click it the games crashes.
Is there a reason for this,and what can I do to prevent it

What do you mean by "turn resolution reurns"? Is this happening while the AI is making its move? I do know that if the game is in heavy duty processing (like in the middle of the AI turn), if you click around on the map, the game will crash.

What I mean is that the AI turn is halted for the duration of the "not responding" and then the turn resumes normally after about 1 minute .

I dont do anything whilst the error message is diplayed. It didn`t happen with earlier patches but only with the

more recent ones - pre-dating the OOB overhaul.

I have 3.0 Gig i7 cpu. 16gig RAM. (It also happened with my older hi-end computer circa 2016)

Is this a server game, or do you have a save you can attach at the start of the AI turn where you are seeing the message?

No this isn`t a server game. It`s vs the AI. It has happened in all my games WITE,WITW and WITE2.

I dont know how to attach a file for posting.

Its not a game breaker , just wish it wouldn`t happen.

It hasn't halted, it's just the way the game shows itself working through its routines.

Glad it isn`t my install thats causing problems.
