Re: THE THREAD!!!
Back after another tour (4 days) at our local hospital.
I had, or have, some infection (or other, they do not know which bug it is yet) in the stomach after the surgery a couple of weeks ago. They opened a drainage into my chest (not sure if chest is the right word, but stomach is the only other word I can think of and that doesn't fit either) yesterday to drain the fluids out caused by said infection, and I responded well to that. Home again with lots of antibiotics prescribed.
Getting back into gaming will help my recovery. At least I believe it will help my mental recovery.

Torso is a word that covers both the chest area, the abdomen, and the pelvis.Orm wrote: Sun Apr 14, 2024 4:54 pm Back after another tour (4 days) at our local hospital.

https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictio ... lish/torsothe human body considered without head, arms, or legs, or a statue representing this
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdomen Lower is the pelvis where the hips are and the legs attach to it.The abdomen (colloquially called the belly, tummy, midriff, tucky or stomach) is the part of the body between the thorax (chest) and pelvis, in humans and in other vertebrates. The abdomen is the front part of the abdominal segment of the torso.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pelvis I hope that you feel better soon and get rid of that infection. The pelvis (pl.: pelves or pelvises) is the lower part of the trunk,[1] between the abdomen and the thighs (sometimes also called pelvic region), together with its embedded skeleton[2] (sometimes also called bony pelvis or pelvic skeleton)
