[RESOLVED] Steam and The new uprate

I just turned on my game for the first time in a week+. I needed a breath because literally 3000 hours into designing a bunch of scenarios, it seemed things kept breaking.

Now...what technically should be a very small update...has become almost the last straw. I cannot play the game...Steam is trying to download a 26 GB download before I can play the game...I'm unsure of the size of the update file but my guess is probably less than 70mb.

Not only is Steam blocking me until the file is downloaded, but it is the slowest download I've ever seen...TTG shows 2days+.

Looks like Steam is reinstalling the game completely, not just updating to the new and changed files.

The new and changed files size, once extracted, is around 144 MB.

Yeah, Steam is trash. It keeps starting and stopping the update at about 17% while "validating" which says will take about 6.5 hours!!!

Hi D...no, just the same computer and drive I've I've used for it for years.
Just finished downloading...three times it got to 97% then restarted. I HATE Steam lol.

At a quick glance I like the update though. Thank you all for such amazibg support.

The only thing I can think of is that I installed the quick fix updates which were not "Steam" and this was the first time Steam has updated...may want to warn people about the fact Steam will not be able to "validate" if you install updates that are not from them.
