When preparing LCU’s for invasion does it help to put them in rest/training mode?

Rest helps if the unit is suffering from any disruption or fatigue. I don't think rest/training speeds up the accumulation of planning points any, but once a unit reaches 100 planning points, training can increase its experience rating to the national cap.
