The best compromise for AI turn speed

Post by ncc1701e »

Which settings in the User Preferences allow a decent level of AI move/combat details without having to wait so long to have your turn back?

I have tried few combinations, none quite working for me.

My current User Preferences are here. What do you recommend ?

Thanks

You can set message detail to 0 and fly through it at the speed of your CPU. Then, simply use the combat display, and click on the ones of interest.

Remember, the detail level can be changed from the keyboard by typing a number. So, you can have it on when deciding your own attacks, but flip it off for the AI turn.

@2by3 - allowing different setting for own turn and other turn (AI, or PBEM) might be a nice, but easy QOL feature to add.

Thanks for the answer, if I want to know more. I will ask by starting my own thread.
