After pausing SC for more than a year, my cruel dark gamemaster whispered on my ear that I could at least install SC on my PC, and there we go…
I ve started few matches, one amongst them against best player of SC-Fafnir. He kicked my ass many times so far so I dont have any hopes, but will try at least put some resistance.

Turns 1-6 passes as usually, his openings were perfect, Belgium and Netherlands fell without casualties in 1 st turn.
I decided to move away from ex. Belgium border and try to use my carriers with bigger caution than usual.
Maginot was gradually abandoned on my first 3 turns.
I was lucky because my combined air/land/carrier units did some significant damage and destroyed 1 medium bomber, 1 panzer and 1 army in my first 3 turns.
Allies have lost 1 UK fighter, 2nd is badly damaged, and so is french fighter, but bombers are still in good shape and did some nice damage to germans.
Most of UK troops, including Lord Gort and expeditionary corps forced are concentrated near Paris alongside few french armies, corps and 1 heavy tank unit.
German sub was caught by french destroyer smuggling morphine for Goring on Iraq route.
Italy entered the war at the end of June.
So far so good - I still didnt surrender

Paris is encircled, only 2 french corps in vicinity are left, it will fall next turn.
2 german paratroops landed around Orleans and Tours in order to destroy retreating Gamelin and Hunziger HQs, which are damaged.
In retaliation, 1 paratroop is destroyed by combined airfleet and land units.
Italian corp attacked Grenoble, but french garnison is reinforced next turn.
1 german sub in Atlantic is attacked by allied destroyers, Italian sub is raiding Mediterrane, no other vessels in sight.
