It's just a trick of nature that there were 33 attacks on the first round and 33 attacks on this the second round. 70% of the turn remains.

I've started moving units again and I've gotten to the OKH RR Art ( 28cm K5 ) which has gotten down to 40% of supply and I like to rest units that are 50% or less. I like my units to be fresh when in combat because I have a theory that they will last longer and will have less losses.

The opportunity to drive south ( on FM45 ) and get in the path of some Soviet units that would dearly love to escape to the east, presented itself and I though that it might be a good idea. Now the 14th Motorized Division Infantry unit is partially blocking the road ( FM10 ) leading to the SE they will have to spend some MP's just disengaging from the Axis unit and therefore can't move as far east as they might have otherwise. And the Axis unit is large enough that it can withstand attacks from the Soviet units nearby.

Okie dokie, I've moved everybody again and I'm ready to pull the trigger but I thought I'd give you guys a look at what the situation is just before the combat starts. I tried to drive far enough to cut off the routes for the Soviet units to escape and I didn't quite do an adequate job because there's a huge gap for them to squerm through. Some of them are probably going to get away.

This is the area just NE of the above image. I'm struggling with some stout Soviet roadblocks but one of my armor units has captured a bridge over the river so progress can still be made.

Here's a view of the middle. I think I may have encoumbered most of the Soviet units so that only a few may make it to safety. I'll have to put the Panzers in the front so they can chase those that think they are getting away.

Here's what it looks like up north. I've disappeared a lot of Soviet units and most of the Axis units in this image have already moved as far as they can go this turn.
