I can't find reason not able to set new home base

I would like to land and unload on suby reef a few KC-130J (Very Large AC). The runnway and access Points are large enough and there is also sufficent large Hangar), but i get the message "Failed to set Subi Reef as the new base..."
What else could be the reason not able to land?

Not sure why you can not assign as new base.


But if you assign them to the Suby ferry mission, it will work.

Though I got some exception errors after doing so.

Anyway, they land and deliver the cargo.

Only 2 at a time, one of them has to take off for the third to land.

Yes it works when assigned a ferry mission.
For me it seems like a bug that it doesn't work if no missions assigned and set a home base
It would be nice if a developper could have a look at this

Indeed. I also think there is some mess here.


I tried with build 1328.16. It will load the save with an exception, then suddenly all the aircraft in Subi Reef take off when in build 18 there were still hours left for the F-18s to be ready. This was a bug in this version.

The airbase is then empty of aircraft, and now you may assign this base for the Hercules.

I tried with 18 again, taking off all the ready aircraft in minutes, but still could not assign the Hercules.

So I suppose it has to do with the space that are occupying the F-18s, there is no room left for the Hercules.
