I guess that Axis Turn 4 is that turn master stroke.

Oh, I will feint - I think that I have pocketed around 50-60 division sized units.
I know that it is not the record and I was not chasing it hehe but nice catch of little red fish.

Hehe, resting panzer and moto really pays off regarding CPP.

I will try to count this tomorrow. Maybe 10 could get loose but maybe not. 407000 Soviet losses this turn. 1150 planes, 500 tanks, etc. Soviet OOB down to 2.8 on map eff

Hah, glorius AI - he have left all sons of the steppes to die in place.
But, magically out of earth the whole Soviet line is up there oh well. I dont think that I will bag 65 Soviet divisions - it will be a grind at some point.

May I ask where did you bag 65 divisions? I like to play against a Hard/Impossible AI, and only during the first 3 turns I can bag the equivalent of 65 (or more) divisions that you just did in one turn!!!

Hah ha curently out, enjoying some nice weathet in Dublin but again it could be rain - when I come back I will tell you exactly how I have done it and what formations.
Interesting AI on one ocasion didnt even tried to establish connection with the pocket and it was very shallow and it held!

Haha, fantastic game. It was opportunity so I just went. "what the heck"....
But game is still not won - some of those pockets have huge CV size urgh Red Army is showing it's teeth.
It is still match.

I am just very curious because of what I am constantly seeing when I remove the FOW: even by purposedly activating the Southern Front on T1, the AI somehow prefers to protect the Lviv salient and the Romanian border, leaving enormous gaps in its lines north of the Prypiat marshes. With some skilled movements, I can easily bag the enemy units between the Mogilev-Smolensk-Vitebsk and the Polotsk-Velikie Luki-Ostrov triangles.

Thank you thats a nice screenshot. It is quite interesting how AI have put new line of defense after having encircled 65 division. Bravo

I am not curently at my computer but I did made lots of smaller or bigger encirclement alltogether some 7-8 encirclements.

Ah, Manstein and Zhukov have send me postcard with only few words: something well done
You are right this time Gods of War were on my side and AI have helped me with his deployment - he cannot be strong everywhere - so like in real war point of breakthrough must go through easieast set of targets - goal is to rout Soviet units and bring damage.
Other than that nothing special - that one rest turn made wonders for CPP and fatigue which is important.

So, I am counting all pockets no matter how small or big, from. North to South:

I am at Navs but 1 hex west of Sonda (by Ziemke Shell Oil rafinery) is only one Soviet div, then south around Velkie Luky Pustoshka i have taken Velikie Luky - Stalin is furious 7 infantrx and 1 armored div, then in a pocket around Vitebsk there is 9 in and 2 mech div, around Mogilev there is 6,5 inf, 1 mech, 1 armored, around Zhlobin another pocket 6 inf, 1 mech, west of Domanovichi 3 inf, very big pocket in the south W of Novogrod-volinskiy, 13,5 inf, mech, 2 arm, then 6,5 div around Shokov inf., 1 inf around Yanpol. Thats it I think more or less.

This turn I destroyed 520000 and still have few attacks. More than 50 divisions destroyed - some are left in the pocket to rotten for one more turn. Maybe 10 or so.
