Did not get any serial key upon purchasing the game

The sequel of the legendary wargame with a complete graphics and interface overhaul, major new gameplay and design features such as full naval combat modelling, improved supply handling, numerous increases to scenario parameters to better support large scenarios, and integrated PBEM++.

Did not get any serial key upon purchasing the game

Hi,

I purchased The Operational Art of War IV when it was on 60% discount. When I got my confirmation email I didn't get a serial key. Instead it says:

"Thank you very much for your purchase of: (1) - The Operational Art of War IV - - Download Your key: ** No more licenses are available in our database"

I've tried to reach out to both Slitherine support and Matrix Games support but haven't got an answer yet. I know it's just a couple of days. Would it be possible to get help from someone on this forum?

If you purchased from Matrix Games your serial key is listed under MY PAGE. Log in and check.

Hi, did you get your serial yet? I had the exact same issue when I bought TOAW IV during the Matrix Games sale earlier this month. The email didnt have a key, and also "MY PAGE" did not show a key.

The email after ordering said:

Thank you very much for your purchase of:
(1) - The Operational Art of War IV - - Download
Your key: ** No more licenses are available in our database, please contact The Slitherine Group (www.matrixgames.com, www.slitherine.com, www.ageod.com) at storesupport@matrixgames.com directly **

So of course I emailed storesupport@matrixgames.com like it asks, but that bounced back as a non-existent email address (so not sure why they still ask to contact it) I then contacted Slitherine support. It took a couple of days without any response, but finally they were able to send me a serial key for the game.

I was Googling extensively for people with the same problem, and there were no results, but since this sale there are now other reports such as this very thread, so there was definitely an issue.

If you haven't yet got your key try again contacting Slitherine's support directly, it should open a helpdesk thread within your slitherine account page on their website.
