As long as we are being off the wall. How about a campaign game on Charles XII of Sweden now wouldn't that be fun? He took on Denmark. Poland and Russia all at the same time (they started it) I think he was 15 years old when Peter the Great invaded Swedish territory and the rivialry has been called the "Tiny Lion against the Enormus Mouse" The logistic side of the game would be easy since I don't think he ever recieved any reinforcment or supplies (1 attempt defeated by Russians) A funny thing was Peter's Birthday gift to Charles before war started was some....artillery

An operational Civil War game would be intresting. I'm unsure if the time peroid suits that form of warfare (Operational being only used in full effect since World War II). I haven't played many ACW games, and Getteysburg is not my thing. I geuss Matrix has its hands full with PacWar and the two modern games comming out in soon (I can't wait for Red Thunder)

"Tiny Lion vs the Enormous Mouse" It sounds like Mogami has read Charles Fair's "From the Jaws of Victory." I would enjoy a Great Northern War game, And could we Get a Thirty Years War Campaign Game also? I wish to pre-purchase that one also.

"From The Jaw's of Victory" was a hilarieus book should be read along with Barbara Tuchmans "March of Folly" the quote of course refering to Burnside after the "Crater" at Petersburg, Va Also a book I read on Peter the Great described the Great Northern War as the Tiny Lion and Enormus Mouse so prehaps it had it's origin during the actual conflict. My favorite follys are 5. Germany Declares War on US after Pearl Harbour (how was FDR going to do Europe without that?) 4. After Crete Hitler decides Airborne units don't work? 3. Napoleon Invades Russia? 2. Hitler Invades Russia and my all time favorite 1. The Trojans take in that damn horse!!!!!
edit: OH and you could fill a book with the French High Command's thinking prior to 1940

A strategic Thirty Years' War game would be great. Or just a strategic level game representing war technology during that era would be fascinating. I know that Matrix is a WARgames company (meaning that they do simulations of real-life situations), but doing a Thirty Years War strategy game with a map editor would be much more interesting to casual games!
