[WAD] Stop Aircraft From Diverting?

Post by Shkval25 »

I've got a patrol mission set up and I'm having the problem that some of the a/c assigned to the mission, specifically the non-IFR capable ones, are diverting to another airfield when they hit bingo. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Some setting somewhere in the mission? They're diverting even without engaging in combat or doing anything else to cause them to need to divert.

Just start on the Colombia side and set time compression to max.

I think the unit is trying to refuel from Chevron 3. The f.1 has a probe and the KC-130 is drogue only.

Nevermind. That makes no sense what I wrote.

On second look, the F.1s start looking for AAR too late. The KC is quite a ways away and they go bingo on the way. I restarted with the KC closer to the F.1s and they refueled fine. I suspect it has to do with the patrol zone for the F.1 being so big and the tanker being so far away. The F.1s are on a far off leg when they go bongo. At that point, the only to keep from crashing is divert.
