I'm only just now reaching Pskov. I feel like I'm behind schedule. But I've cleared out my backfield and all the troops coming up from behind will be at the front soon. There's still a lot of terrain hexes that have to be converted and a lot of my little units will do that task. I'm bringing the aircraft forward as I move further north and east for the CAP that they provide.

This is the area NE of Leningrad and shows the Finns slowly pushing the Soviets back. The goal is to get control of the rails in and out of that AO. The rails will give me the ability to shuttle some supplies down south and west to Leningrad. It's important for that reason.

I just now captured Pskov. The defenders that the Soviets are using is telling me that they are lacking any big ones or that the big ones haven't arrived yet.

Moving along nicely. You've cracked the Dnepr, Here's Directive 34a for you; Directive No. 34a, issued on 12 August. The missions of Army Group South as follows: 1. To prevent the establishment of a continuous Russian defense line along the Dnepr; 2. To seize the Crimea; and 3. To capture the Donets region and the industrial area around Kharkov.

I've arrived at Kiev and I'm starting to assault there. I've railed several RR arty tubes in to bombard and I'm starting to take down the Kiev defenses. I'll have units on the east side of the river shortly. I want to trap as many Soviet units on the west side as possible.

I'm bombarding Odessa already and I think I'll use the right side of Odessa for taking the city down. Less losses that way.

Here's what's going on in the north. I just defeated a Soviet defender and there's only three stacks remaining. The rail is repaired all the way to the RR engineers in the middle of the image. I sank the BB in the stack of Soviet ships on the left side of this image so all that is left is one CA and 5 DD's. I think I can get rid of the Soviet ships with my Stuka's.
