Supply beachhead

Post by ncc1701e »

Would it be possible to increase the effectiveness recovery when performing beachhead supply or air resupply?
Today, it seems this is only 4% per turn.

When invading an island, it can turn into a nightmare.

Thanks

I'll take a look at the math. But invasions are supposed to be hard.

Agree but the Battle of Guadalcanal has historically taken several game turns on both sides. I am in the same situation where one side is obvious not having a port. The other side is having a port but there is a blockade.

The effectiveness is dropping like hell even without combat. Perhaps this is the same on the other side.

do you have any of the logistics ships? they double it and are awesome! it seems to be some sort of ratio, if your units are way down there in effectiveness the ship supply gives you more up to 19-20% with logistics specialty if your units are really bad like 10%. If they are pretty fresh sometimes it only gives you 1%. either way i have done many island landings where it took a few turns to take it and I thought the ship supply was quite effective, sometimes it seems too good if you are trying to take a blockaded island and some pesky sub you can't seem to spot keeps supplying them!

For that scenario maybe it is a good idea to increase the beach supply for it.
