That island has an incorrect nationality code - it has been set to Japan Mainland.

Not sure what it should have. Bump the question upstairs.[;)]

BTW, Formosa wont activate the reinforcements

Pescadores probably should have the Formosa nationality code:

I don't agree on the Pescadores country code (100 vs 101) issue . I think it is meant to be a tripwire, same as Paramushiro Jima on the other side of Japan. PJ is code 100 while all of the other Kuriles are code 101. Hence - tripwire.

That makes sense. Do you know what the trip wire enacts? I imagine there are likely a number of these in the game.

Japanese emergency reinforcements which Formosa being invaded does not give those emergency reinforcements. Paramushiro Jima was historically Ainu which were the original inhabitents of that area along with other islands, Japan, and parts of the Asian continent. Thus Paramushiro was historically Japanese which Pescadores was not historically Japanese. The quote that I gave was from someone who I think is/was a developer.

General, any luck with the beta? I hope the problems are getting worked out. I would help, but I know little of coding. Is the 4th of July possible? In any event have a great 4th!

What kind of changes to the A.I. might we get with the new patch?

Narrator: Now, should we initiate a patch? Take the number of registered game copies in the field, A, multiply by the probable rate of new customers, B, multiply by the average daily rants in the forums , C. Atimes B times C equals X. If X is less than the cost of a patch, we don't do one.

Woman on plane: Are there a lot of these kinds of patches?

Narrator: You wouldn't believe.

Woman on plane: Which PC games publisher do you work for?

Narrator: A major one.

Oh please! Don't disappoint me by releasing this before 100 years have passed since the Nips took out battleship row. My father had a friend on the Arizona who died. He joined the Navy (I forgive him for not being a United States Marine) and served on DD696 (USS English) from the time she was launched until she returned to San Francisco. A couple months later I was given life with the potato patch girl.

I've made about 3 posts in the last 2 years and 5 months. I'm very surprised Slitherine's Italian gunslinger hasn't continued his potshots at me. He may be in a deep depression that women are still an important part of our society. I can say so openly without fear that the gunslinger will attempt to get me, well, because I am a United States Marine. I actually feel that the patch is delayed because Slitherine can't figure out how to handle the DEI in this wargaming theatre. Is DEI really the Dutch East Indies, or is it the DEI so commonly invoked in this perverse new world order?

Yeah, I'm an old Marine but I still stand for the United States of America.

You are welcome.

Shamefully, they have no concept of the DEI (Dutch East Indies). Now, I am sure that they have secured millions of new signups to their DEI program, however, try as I might, I find no overwhelming avalanche of considerations to the contrary. Where are the multitudes of underprivileged members of the female sex and the word salad community who appreciate the recreation of the history of the art of warfare? I do0 not see the hordes of amazon women attacking me because I have some appreciation of the history of this human race upon this insignificant planet in the greater universe. I have seen the rainbow (I remember when a rainbow was a beautiful thing and not a perverted object), and something to be appreciated, but I see no actual evidence of the letter salad influencer's making their destruction of all the things which are good except in media hysteria and their booze house rules. I believe that defeating Hitler and Hirohito was a good thing.
