Unit weight and carry stats tutorial?

Post by Searry »

How do I interpret this screen? The manual is very sparse in information.

Edit: I see you are supposed to look at the weight stuff when microing. Would still appreciate an in depth look into this.

Yes I mean this screen. I know now you are supposed to look at wgt car and manpwgt manpwcar when microing. That screen is incomprehensible though.

Every vehicle has :
- a weight/carry value (Opel Blitz 2/3 ) ( kubelwagen 1/1) (sdkfz 251 2/2);
the first number is the vehicles weight the second the weight of a towed weapon);

- a manpower/carry value (Opel Blitz 2/20) ( kubelwagen 1/5) (sdkfz 251 2/10);
the first number is the vehicles crew the second how many men can go on the vehicle);

So a Kubelwagen can tow a 37mm At gun (weight 1) but not a 75mmPak (weight 2) and can load 5 men;

There is some tolerance so in the image you see a yellow "194" for the "205" men in the unit and there is 83% chance the unit can use the full tracked movement.

Hope now is more clear.
