well me and yak played a mp of para rescue and he owened me. i threw everything i had up the middle and wound up loseing 2thousand men. it was a horrible meat girnder for me. brillant for him. i even attacked with a fatiguied unit of a 3rd bn para's. i should have just probed with them. i wasnt prepared to meat such stiff resitance there i thought he was going to play like the computer and use the withrw method as soon as he saw all the unit but no he stoob his ground and decimated most of my units. and just as i got through the bottle neck at son it was over. he used his arty perfectly while i stumbled with mine. and he took out a lot of my units while they were getting organized for the attack. i would put some pictures up but i dont know how. he sure noes his tactics. next time i will try to use some better tactics. i thought that since this main was all about tactis and was going to defend the other bridge figureing that only an idiot would go striaght up the middle but he saw my pln comming miles away. well good battle yak.

You should play a rematch with the sides swapped. Para Rescue is a bit unbalanced against a human defender; I recommend playing with both reinforcement schedules set to Favour Allies in this case.

BTW Gary smashed me playing Para Rescue as well [:o] After I got blocked at Son Bridge, I sneaked a battalion over one of the flank bridges and up to St Oedenrode. Gary completely destroyed the entire battalion.

It was a good push up the middle - I got lucky and had my defense set up for it. I'll be glad to swap sides next match and take allies in normal setting - give you a chance for revenge! Look me up on MSN later in the week maybe.
