Radio sound after a base is Captured

Post by Fritz641 »

Hi,

While not really an "issue" but has anyone noticed that even with absolutly all sounds at 0 the radio sound effect that plays when a base is capture still plays loud and clear.

Not really a complain but more of a heads up for maybe a possibe bug fix..

Cheers!

I have never noticed that sound, perhaps because I use the -skipVideo switch to prevent all videos from playing at startup (and perhaps one does on base capture?).
Or, if you have combat animations ON and the land combat time set higher than 0.0, you get a hard coded radio sound much like Orphan Anne's naval combat blurb about "...2 Carriers, a Battleship, and numerous Cruisers and Destroyers."? I don't get her blurb if I have animations OFF and naval to naval combat time set at 0.0
