Hong Kong falls for the nth time. HOWEVER, this is the first time I see Japanese taking HK without HK having suffered considerable damage to its industries.
Normally, AI opens the HK siege with a shock attack by an eng regt, and later shocks with the full stack, lowering HK's forts in the process.
So what was different this time?

Then, the Japanese AI followed with a Shock attack with the full stack. Now comes the fun part. The Japanese achieved 6:1 odds in this attack and captured HK with its fort level 3 intact.
And the prize for their flawless attack was this gem.

Normally, with fort reduction during the siege, a captured HK looks like this
