ODD?

Post by abver09 »

Hello everyone.
Highly unlikely that anyone checks here, but I am desparate now.
I have heard of this software called Opart Design and Debug Utility (ODD), and I desparately need it. However, I saw that the original site is no longer working, I saw another site, but that didn't work either. I am desparate now, is there any way to get ODD and if not, can someone send me a mediafire/google drive link to the file please?

I can't find the darn thing here, sorry about that. I know I've used it in the past, so it's annoying not be able to find it. However, it wasn't supported for TOAW IV, so maybe that it why it has slipped thru my cracks.

Do you still need this? I hesitate to post it here since it isn't mine to post. But I can send it to you if you want. Zipped up I show it as 1.822mb. You can still use the map portion but it you want to use all of it you need to have TOAWIII. Many scenarios designed in TOAWIII have been saved in TOAWIV but I'm sure you would have to change a few things once you got it saved in IV.

abver,

A question.

What is it that you want to do that you think ODD can help you with ?

There may be other options available for TOAW IV.

Cheers

I use 76mm’s TOAWxml Editor for browsing and locating events. It has other functions, but I’ve never used them. You can find it here:

I had asked him to make the unit editor into a spreadsheet, but he moved on to other projects.

Here's a zipped up ODD. Two disclaimers.

It was made for TOAWIII. I've used the map portion extensively and it works just fine with TOAWIV. The rest does not. So if you have TOAWIII you could make a scenrio there and port it to TOAWIV and see how it goes.

I didn't have the original zip file so I don't know what in this zip file actually belongs to ODD and what is mine but it doesn't really matter. I put it in the game directory under TOAWIII and it worked just fine as it is. But then there's the first disclaimer. ;)
