Placed the partisan on Haichow per instruction. Placed both markers on offense for Germany and placed yours on offense for USSR. File sent for US entry play.

Two entry markers added vs Germany, and two vs Japan. US then played Arm merchantmen. 7 rolled, and one marker moved to the Japanese tension pool.

Save sent.

Losses for the turn. Note that one Japanese pilot, and one CVP, was destroyed due to a bug, and Japan remains to be compensated for that.

CW feels pretty mauled. Never had so much losses as CW that I can recall. Certainly never lost so many CPs as CW before (in one turn). :)

Allied SAS sent.

Yes, it was a very rough turn for the Commonwealth. However, they did succeed in defending Portugal from conquest, and the campaign's success, especially now that US entry into the war against Germany and Italy is imminent, is in serious peril for the Axis. The Axis are out of supply and it will be difficult to get supply to them going forward.

Regarding the Japanese pilot and CVP, I plan to save one BP during this EOT for Japan. I will then add two BP as compensation for the loss of the Japanese pilot. The CVP's cost is now zero and I'm not sure I ever purchased it so won't demand a BP for it's loss. This seems the best compensation available as the process for editing the file to get the pilot back seems a bit too much work for my taste.

Are you guys fine with this? We will settle up on the lost USSR oil for Iraq once they are in the war.

For Germany, place pilots in the two Fockewulfs, Do 217K, Stuka, and Ju88A1. Place the A-5 and 217K in Essen. Rest in Konigsberg.

Transport and Blucher in Kiel. Kesselring and garrison in Konigsberg. Infantry corps in Breslau.

For Italy place pilots in the Freccia, Folgore, and SM 84. SM 84 goes to Palermo, Freccia in Genoa, Folgore in Trieste. All land units go into Trieste.

For Japan, place a pilot in the Hayabusa with a 5 tactical rating and the A5M4 CVP that has a 3 tactical rating and 1 naval bomb factor. Hayabusa in Kyoto and the CVP on the newly arrived Zuiho.

Remove the D3A1 CVP from the Hosho.

No change in lending. If the Axis win the initiative the Axis will move first but no reroll.

Impulse #1 (Allied)

No declarations of war.

Land: USSR, China
Combined:
Naval: USA, CW, Free France

No Port Strikes.

Naval air:

CW:
FTR3 -> North Sea 3-box
NAV4 -> North Atlantic 4-box

Naval movement:
USA + FF + CW:
US carrier fleet -> North Sea 3-box
CP BoB -> Scapa Flow
2 TRS + FTR2 + LND3 Norfolk -> Faeroes Gap 0-box
3 SUB Calcutta -> SCS 3-box
SUB Brisbane -> Bismarck Sea 3-box
2 CV Hawaii -> San Diego
A lot of convoy escorts do their thing.

US search in the Bismarck Sea to begin with.
