Me vs the Computer

Post by TechSgt »

Bought during the sale, thank you.

The biggest issue is finding the information about how to get this to run. would be nice if there was a single Matrix Games spot.
The Game is now loading and runnable. Thank you long forgotten threads and YouTube videos.

The current issue I have is multiple monitors, it starts on one, when I try to drag to another one, the click hot spots seem to disappear.

2) For the Betas, do we need to load 26 before loading 27? or just load whatever is the current?

3)) Will start working on getting a map mod, eventually.

Just stick with 11.26 for now. A new patch is in the works which will eventually supersede 27.

Welcome aboard!

For starting to play the game, I recommend the Coral Sea scenario and play both sides until you are comfortable with it. Then try the Guadalcanal scenario, again playing both sides.

I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are missing! :o

One good thing about playing against AI is that it does not mind you replaying turns.

Don't be shy to try different things and accustoming yourself to game mechanics.

Don't do like me and play few turns of Coral Sea and then straight to Grand Campaign Scen 1 !!! Talk about sink or swim. But best way to learn is from mistakes.

This is a rather old game and an updated version of an even older game and an even older one before that, on multiple monitors it can only be played on the primary monitor.

That's how I do it. I''d be lost with one screen and get tennis neck if it occupied more than one.
