[RESOLVED] Upgrade issue

Post by RobertMc »

Hello all...a little info and help requested, please. I have Command Modern Ops version 1.04.11475.00 and am trying to upgrade. I downloaded version 1.05.1307 from the Matrix site and tried to upgrade but the program says I need version 1.05.1307.19 before I can apply the former. If this has been answered before, I apologize but I'm puzzled about this. Is there a version 1.05.1307.19 around somewhere? Thanks for any help.

Okay...I guess it's the huge 14.7 GB file on the Matrix website? I started to download that last night but I weakened at the last minute. Hope this works.

You cannot update from 1.04 to 1.05.

You need to use the new installer that was created for 1.05.

Hello and thank you. Am I correct in thinking that I need to delete the entire Command game presently on my computer and use that 14.7 GB file to basically reinstall the game back on again? Is that how it works?

You don't have to. But its safer that way if you don't normally muck around with your PC.

Do not delete the game folder manually without uninstalling first through Windows, like any other software.

Otherwise you will have to mess with the registry.

Once you have uninstalled you may delete the game folder just in case there are any remnant files.

Note that the size of v1.05 is bigger than before and reinstalling will require some time.
