Multirole aircraft MUST go home after dropping bombs

Post by Eboreg »

I've recently run into a rather frustrating bug where after getting a multirole aircraft to drop its bombs on a target, you can't then send it to do fighter sweeps due to the fact that it keeps calling Winchester and returning to base and "U"nassigning the aircraft will only stop RTB for a short time. While changing Winchester doctrine is a decent workaround in terms of preventing this, it's still very frustrating and I would like this fixed.

Save is attached of a flight of F-35s that just finished taking out an I-HAWK with Stormbreakers but are refusing to engage a nearby flight of F-4 Phantoms despite my repeated orders to. (The "Fighter" side has the F-35s)

The inability to cancel RTB will be fixed for the next update.

I would just like to give an update here, the problem is not fixed. Attached is a scenario file where a flight of F-35s have just destroyed a target with Stormbreakers and are constantly ignoring my attempts to path them towards a flight of F-4 Phantoms.

It's weird, once I load the save the issue is happening but if I use U and then plot the course every thing works fine.

Do you have the scenario from the beginning?
