lag

Post by trooperrob »

Hi, I am a new user, but:
I have tried to start a couple of scenario.
I have a real problem with the lag on selecting something (eg airbase)

I am happy for a delay reading a message in combat etc, but I can't live with what seems like a second or a second and a half delay after selecting anything.

I am using hard disk, but otherwise reasonable machine, fine for WITE2 and WITW.

Is there a setting I need to change?

also is there a good source for downloading the manual as a pdf. I want to download to Ipad, but would be easiest if I can get it from a website rather than work out how to get it from PC.

Thanks in advance. I keep having problems logging into this site. (500 admin errors etc. and it won't remember passwords well)

To avoid repetition of all the advice already out there, I suggest you go to the Tech section of this forum and look for the threads on "slow performance" or similar. They will tell you about the text 'switches' you can put in your shortcut. The switches help the old program software find the right hardware and operating system links to make the game play smoothly.

As a registered game owner you should be able to download the manual from the Members Area.
