What is the Purpose?

What is the purpose of this interface?
It doesn't appear to have any interactive capability.

Also, why does the text remain microscopic no matter what I do with "scaling" to make the game legible?

The screen has a purpose in the editor (allowing setting of some values), but in the game it's just a listing of what's in the theater boxes.

I suggested this a while back. So you could have an overview of all TBs at first glance.

I was hoping this button would open the Theater Boxes themselves.

Is there a button that will open the Theater Boxes, or is cntrl+t the only means to do so?

The reason I ask is because it takes three implementations of cntrl+t to get the Boxes to display. The first two applications seems to turn the unit map display on and off, while the third attempt finally succeeds in opening the TBs.

A button, I have been unable to find, would be far more desirable.

And I presume that nothing can be done about the nearly microscopic size of the text, short of reducing my monitor from 4k to 2k resolution?

You can click the buttons on top of the map overview in the bottom left of your screen in map view.

I have no idea what you are talking about.

What is "map overview"?
The furthest outward zoom?
Even the furthest out zoom is not an overview of the entire map.

I have tried every button across the top under all three tabs and have not found one that brings up the Theater Boxes.

I have never seen any buttons in the bottom right of the screen.

I zoom all the way out before bringing up the theater boxes with three applications of cntrl+t in the hope that I can avoid the interminably slow edge scrolling it takes to get a look at the Finland box, only to have the game zoom back in on the Reserve Box, forcing the slow edge scrolling on me.

Attempts to use the Jump Map to get a view of the Finland box without having to wait for the slow edge scrolling only results in the Theater Boxes being closed.

Everything about interacting with the Theater Boxes brings one frustration after another.

I had a "just got up typo". Bottom left of your screen there is a minimap. Above the minimap there you have some "Buttons with letters" [W][R][Af] and so on.
