[1468 CIV] plotted course canceled problem

It's an issue I've reported several times before, but the course still automatically cancels. I've played it many times and it's constantly happening and I don't think it's a problem with any specific scenarios or settings.
If you manually set the course for the aircraft you assigned to the support mission, the course will be automatically canceled shortly after.
