How to create depots?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

How to create depots?

Post by HansBolter »

Manual states that the player can create depots, but provides no explanation of how.

There is no depot creation button at the top of the screen as in WitE2. There is no ability to do so in the hex fly out as in WitE2.

I cannot figure out how this is done.

Guess I need to stop reading the book and start reading that Living Manual mentioned in the other thread.

documentation seem to be lacking this bit of information, at least where you want it to be
mark a town/city location, then on the top right click on the location name to open the location menu and there you will find the option to create/disband depots (or change depot priority)

Lots of tutorials/help:

I found it in the Players Handbook.

The Game Manual also incorrectly stated that they can be created on any rail line hex connected to the supply grid.

I really hate it when manuals lie to me.
