(1487) Unable to load save or autosave for scenarios started post update

Apologies for posting on another thread and not making a separate topic. As per the guidelines, I have created a new thread.

I am having this exact same problem as several other individuals with the new update where the 'Data at the root level is Invalid' error pops up which prevents loading any save file for scenarios that were started as a 'New Game' post 1.07.1487 release. I tried to revalidate files in Steam and error still persists. I have also tried to reinstall the game and the error persists. This is occurring with any save games (autosaves or manual saves) for multiple scenarios.
