Is the intention for the country to surrender to another, or for it to pull out of the war?

The reason being that it can only surrender to a country on the opposite side.

Also, the first script has #ARMISTICE= 1 which means it will pull out of the war, and that only works if the #RECIPIENT_ID= is the same as the #COUNTRY_ID=.

well I would like for it to end the war with a specific nation, and then be able to continue the war against another country.

when I use the armistice script nothing changes, it doesnt surrender or pull out of the war..

The armistice should work if the country is set to surrender to itself too.
