Terrain info box covers left hand corner

There is an annoying problem in the left hand corner of the screen/map where the terrain information makes it impossible to select units near the British colony port. Two German units are attempting to blockade the port and I cannot attack them. It seems the terrain info masks the units underneath.

In fact right now I have two units that are in the info box that I cannot select. They moved because one of the units moved into it and as a result it moved to a location I cannot either see or select.

I tried to change preferences and the display resolution size but none of what I tried work. Is there a way out of this connundrum?

Which campaign are you playing as I am struggling to identify which colony you might be referring to that has British units in it?

Bill, he saying he can't acess his units that are blockaiding the UK port in the far lower left corner.

He could do so if he just turned the interface off.

Of course blockaiding that port to cut the convoy line is a bit of a cheese play in itself.

P.S. - I agree completely it is cheesy, but the Axis player did it so -- I have to respond somehow.

PF4 (F4) key turns the interface on/off.

It's in the manual, but unfortunately not listed amongst the 'hot key' options under the '?' -> hot key button/selection (underneath the big next turn arrow).

Dear Taxman:

Thanks for that! Also, when I changed from my big monitor (2400p) to my laptop monitor (1080p), it changed the layout sufficiently to allow me to select my ships I couldn't select on the bigger monitor.

F4 though is the better way to go.
