How Can I Tell My ACTIVE Sonar Is On?

Post by Lanzfeld »

Question in title.

I have the active sonar on for my 688 sub. (just to test some things).
While the enemy active sonar is shown on map because I have "show all emissions" enabled I cannot see my active emissions. Yes I have unchecked the check boxes that prevent active for same side and unit.

Yes sir and thank you. I was just wanting a move obvious way like how you can tell the enemy is using active sonar because of the feedback on the screen every time they pulse.

This knucklehead would like THAT kind of feedback (visual) for self. ;)

The rings show the maximum range, but that does not mean that the radar/sonar is active, the same applies for enemy units.

You can see the enemy emissions by enabling it in the menu.

You will see a white text in the top of the unit with the emission detection.

Yes sir I have those options enabled.
They only show when the enemy is active emission.
I would like it to show my guys as well.
