Graphical options

Hey there,

Is this possible to get more graphical options, like farther rendering of details?

I am also having trouble to get a smooth anti-aliased quality despite the ingame controls (and not having that problem with way more demanding games like Regiments or Sea Power). Any idea of what could be wrong?
I've checked and AB2 is set to use the GPU.

There may be more graphics options or a farther draw distance setting coming up later.

To have better anti-aliasing, I'll have to implement it as a post-processing effect in the future. Our SDK doesn't have the feature.

It would be nice to have the option to render shadows further out as they pop in quite noticeably at short range.

Bought at release and starting to get back into it. Played the original for a while. I like the inclusion of 3D graphics. Adds to experience. Is there any plans to include replay that allows you to save and see the battle in 3D?

Once you start a battle you're probably going to be in zoomed out view most of the time so ability to save and replay with ability to see in 3D as well as move, pan, tilt camera to see the action would be nice.

The replay feature seems to be just top down 2D...

A replay feature would be brilliant in many ways…

1/ There’s so much going on in the bigger battles, sometimes the log comes alive with stuff getting blown up and it would be great to be able to rewind and watch what happened.

2/ for the WEGO option, a replay function ala Combat Mission would be great.

3/ a proper replay function at the end. The current top down one is ok but hard to use. In full 3d it would be so much
more satisfying. If this could be tied in with a cinematic camera that tracks different units, rotating shots etc.

This may be out of the scope of ABII, but would certainly add a lot to the experience in my opinion!

WEGO would be another great feature to have. Even look at command cycles as in Flashpoint Campaigns. This may be too much for the designer. IIRC this is a very small design team.
