Chain of command questions

Post by Solaristics »

Please answer true or false (and feel free to elaborate, because I'm just guessing at this stage):

Units in companies with organic HQs trace to their HQ for command and control. They have to be within the HQ's dark blue radius for this.

If its organic HQ is not in range, a unit traces to the nearest HQ that it is within the blue circle of.

Units without organic HQs trace to the nearest HQ that they are within the circle of, including organic company HQs.

There is no chain of command for HQs, i.e. HQs don't trace to other HQs.

There is no capacity limit for the number of units a HQs can control.

It's important to know that the "HQ contact" system, that affects morale and the command delay, hasn't been reworked yet and is the same as in AB1. It uses the blue circles, and an HQ unit can command any number of units.

The new information sharing system uses the organic company HQs and independent HQs, and it has nothing to do with the blue circles.

The following answers concern the older system only.
